When trying to loose weight you sometimes hit what is called a plateau. This is normal, some people will stay at the same weight for days, weeks, months, or even years. It's okay, if you look on the bright side, you are not gaining weight right? Sometimes it's hard to stay motivated to show up to the gym or to do your regular workout routine. Just keep in mind that it is easier to keep up your work out routing than it is to try to get back to your workout routine. Every time I have taken a break from working out it seems it takes longer to get back to the point I was at. You normally feel better through out the day and you have more energy even if your body is so sore you can't lift your arms or move your legs.

Some tricks to stay motivated are: Set goals. If you like to run, increase your speed or your distance. With weights, increase the amount you lift. This is still showing progress in your workout. Help others stay motivated. Most people in this life have friends (some don't, I know it's sad) talk to them about your goals and what you would like to accomplish, you can  help them stay motivated while they help you stay motivated. Get a personal trainer. Most gyms offer a personal trainer to help out with your workout, some cost more than others but if you are in the don't have friends category then this is the right option for you. I once belonged to a gym that offered free personal training, this was nice since it helped you stay motivated on going to the gym and you learn about the various weights and a good routine to follow. Although I have had bad experiences with personal trainers as well. If you are going to choose to be a personal trainer then you need to have the body of a personal trainer, don't tell someone to diet and exercise while your gut is hanging over you shorts or out of your shirt. Obviously what they are telling you does not work or they do not practice what they preach.
