Growing up playing video games I could only dream of doing stunts like this. After seeing a news article on this it made me realize this is something that I would of liked to of done when I was younger. This seems to be a happy median between rock climbing, gymnastics, and running. When I was younger I use to do a lot of rock climbing and I never knew this sport existed. It makes me want to get back into rock climbing and start training in Parkour. This is a sport that more and more people are getting into. With that it is a sport that needs training and discipline. There are many sites out on the Internet that talk about this sport. One of the fathers of this sport is David Belle.

As you can tell this is a sport not for the beginners in the fitness world. Before starting to train it is a good idea to be in somewhat of a physical condition, know your limitations, and don't try anything that you know you can not do. As you train in any sports it is a good idea to know what your limitations are and what you can and can not do. Remember to stay safe and not to do anything stupid.

kindly Support My Mission By giving your Vote:

This is a painful one for Shirley and her husband Larry their daughter Margie was brutally murdered by the man who claimed to love her, Margie’s husband. “It’s easy to look back now and see the warning signs,” states Shirley. “But back then our family did not realize that the verbal attacks were escalating into physical assaults until it was too late.

I ask You to have patience and compassion for victims of domestic violence. It is important to realize women stay with abusers for many reasons. Judging and placing blame on victims only drives them farther into silence. Please remember, leaving an abuser is not a decision, it’s a process. Stick it out, be supportive of your friend, family member or coworker. You may be their only hope.”

Parkour is amazing! I'm pretty sure David Belle can actually fly, but he jumps off of high buildings anyway just to show how hardcore he is and smack gravity around like a little girl.

Parkour seems to be a mostly European phenomenon, although I have read of some people doing it here in the U.S. I wonder how Americans look upon it ... I think most would see it silly at first. We White American Males (WAMs) especially are set in our ways about sports. I wrote a post back in February on the unspoken rules in our culture. If you're interested, you can check it out here:
